‘One DAE One Subscription’ has been inaugurated by the Department of Atomic Energy
• The Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) has launched the 'One DAE, One Subscription' (ODOS) initiative.
• The ODOS inauguration took place at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai.
• ODOS allows all DAE units and subunits (about 60) to access and publish research papers and scientific journals.
• The initiative will eventually merge with the national 'One Nation, One Subscription' (ONOS) program.
• The first ODOS agreement was made with M/s. Wiley India Private Limited.
• This agreement grants access to 1353 Wiley journals, including archives from 1997, to the DAE community.
• ODOS Transformative Agreements (TA) were signed with M/s. Wiley India Private Limited and M/s. Springer Nature Group.
• This marks a significant milestone for the DAE scientific community, enhancing access to global research.
RANKING AND REPORTS
As per RBI report, India accounts for nearly half of the global digital payments.
