Arunachal Pradesh Declares 16 Districts Malaria-Free on World Malaria Day 2025
• On April 25, during World Malaria Day celebrations in Naharlagun, 16 out of Arunachal Pradesh’s 27 districts were officially declared malaria-free.
• The announcement marked a significant milestone in the state’s public health efforts, with the goal of becoming fully malaria-free by 2027.
• Dr. KT Mulung, Deputy Director of Health Services and State Program Officer for NCVBDC, commended the dedicated efforts of healthcare workers and volunteers.
