West Bengal won the team title at the 4th National Finswimming Championship.

• Uttarakhand took third place with 21 medals (8 gold, 6 silver, 7 bronze).

• The event saw participation from 1,500 athletes representing 26 states and union territories.

Coal India Ltd received Green World Awards 2024 in London.

• The award recognized CIL’s Thalassemia Bal Sewa Yojna, which has treated over 600 Thalassemia patients.

• CIL was the first PSU to launch a CSR project for Thalassemia treatment through Bone Marrow Transplants in 2017.

• Under the scheme, CIL provides financial aid of up to ₹10 lakh per patient for Bone Marrow Transplants.

• The award was presented by The Green Organization, a global non-profit promoting environmental and CSR initiatives.

• The Green Organization honors projects that demonstrate outstanding environmental and social contributions worldwide.
