Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award 2025

Over 65 lakh property cards under the SVAMITVA scheme distributed by PM Modi.

Singapore President Shanmugaratnam's visit to India

• President Tharman Shanmugaratnam of Singapore made his first official visit to India from January 14-18, 2025.

• The visit included stops in New Delhi and Odisha, with a focus on strengthening bilateral ties.

• During his visit to Odisha on January 17-18, 2025, eight memorandums of understanding (MoUs) were signed between Singapore and Odisha.

• The visit coincided with the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and Singapore.

• India was among the first countries to recognize Singapore upon its independence in 1965.

• At Rashtrapati Bhavan, President Droupadi Murmu and President Shanmugaratnam unveiled a logo to commemorate 60 years of India-Singapore ties.

• President Shanmugaratnam held meetings with key Indian leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

• The Singapore President also met senior ministers such as Dr. S. Jaishankar, Nitin Gadkari, Jagat Prakash Nadda, and Nirmala Sitharaman.
