India Achieves Three Guinness World Records under Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan

• The Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan was a nationwide women’s health campaign conducted from September 17 to October 2.

• India earned three Guinness World Records through this initiative, highlighting its large-scale health outreach.

• The first record was for over 3.21 crore people registering on a health platform within one month.

• The second record recognized 9.94 lakh women participating in breast cancer screenings conducted online within a week.

• The third record was for 1.25 lakh individuals completing vital signs screening online at the state level in one week.

• The campaign saw participation from 20+ Union ministries, government bodies, medical colleges, and private organisations.

• Over 5 lakh Panchayati Raj members and 1.14 crore students joined the effort, reflecting India’s collective focus on women’s health empowerment.

Model Youth Gram Sabha Initiative Launched to Boost Youth Governance Participation

• The Model Youth Gram Sabha initiative was officially launched in New Delhi to inspire youth involvement in grassroots democracy.

• A training module and an online portal were unveiled alongside the program to guide and connect participants nationwide.

• The initiative seeks to foster participatory governance by engaging students in mock Gram Sabha sessions.

• It focuses on strengthening civic engagement and empowering young citizens to understand decision-making at the village level.

• The project will be rolled out in over 1,000 schools across India.

• Union Minister of State for Panchayati Raj, Prof. Satya Pal Singh Baghel, attended the launch ceremony.

• The initiative is a joint collaboration among the Ministries of Panchayati Raj, Education, and Tribal Affairs.

Punjab Police Launches ‘Cyber Jago’ for Online Safety Awareness

Punjab’s Namitbir Singh Walia Earns International Master Title in Chess

• Namitbir Singh Walia from Jalandhar, Punjab, has achieved the prestigious title of International Master (IM) in chess.

• He earned this recognition after finishing fourth at the 3rd Annemasse International Masters Tournament held in France.

• Namitbir’s chess journey began at age six, showing early promise and dedication to the sport.

• By the time he was seven, he had started formal coaching and balancing studies with competitive chess.

• He received training from coach Kanwarjit Singh until 2020, which helped refine his strategic play.

• Earlier this year, he also clinched the Senior State FIDE Rating Open Chess Championship title.

• Namitbir now becomes Punjab’s second International Master, following Dushyant Sharma, who earned the title in February 2022.

3rd National Conference on NeVA Held in New Delhi

• The third National Conference on the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) took place on 30th October in New Delhi.

• The event was hosted by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs with Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and MoS Dr. L. Murugan in attendance.

• Over 100 delegates, including Legislature and Nodal Department Secretaries from various states, participated in the meet.

• NeVA, a Mission Mode Project under Digital India, focuses on creating paperless and digital legislative assemblies.

• The initiative envisions ‘One Nation, One Application’, bringing all 37 legislatures onto a unified digital platform.

• The conference aimed to review progress, share best practices, and resolve technical challenges for faster implementation.

• Discussions also covered the role of AI and emerging technologies in enhancing legislative transparency and governance.

PM to Attend International Aryan Summit 2025 in New Delhi

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the International Aryan Summit 2025 on 31st October in Rohini, New Delhi.

• The summit is part of the Jyāna Jyoti Festival, marking 200 years of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati’s birth and 150 years of Arya Samaj’s service.

• The PM will address delegates from Arya Samaj organisations across India and various countries.

• The event highlights the global influence of Maharshi Dayanand’s reformist vision and the universal relevance of his teachings.

• A special exhibition titled “150 Golden Years of Service” will showcase Arya Samaj’s role in education, reform, and spirituality.

• The summit seeks to honour Dayanand Saraswati’s legacy in promoting education, equality, and social reform.

• It aims to spread Vedic values, Swadeshi ideals, and the message of national development.

Indo-Pacific Regional Dialogue 2025 Concludes in New Delhi

• The Indo-Pacific Regional Dialogue (IPRD) 2025 was held in New Delhi from October 28–30, organised by the Indian Navy.

• The event revolved around the theme “Promoting Holistic Maritime Security and Growth: Regional Capacity-Building and Capability-Enhancement.”

• Delegates from over 30 nations across and beyond the Indo-Pacific took part in the discussions.

• Key sessions explored the Blue Economy, seabed infrastructure protection, and emerging maritime challenges.

• Dialogues also focused on the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEEC) and ASEAN-India maritime cooperation.

• The National Maritime Foundation (NMF) released two publications — Maritime Perspectives: The Blue Economy and Resilience and Operationalising Project MAUSAM, launched by Sanjeev Sanyal.

• The three-day event provided strategic insights for policymakers to advance regional collaboration and new multilateral maritime initiatives.
